KOBELCO STEEL TUBE CO., LTD. Corporate Name Change
～To be renamed MARUICHI STAINLESS TUBE CO., LTD. from June 1～

KOBELCO STEEL TUBE CO., LTD. will change its name to MARUICHI STAINLESS TUBE CO., LTD. upon transfer of its shares to Maruichi Steel Tube Ltd. (“Maruichi Steel Tube”). This corporate name change follows the transfer of all outstanding shares (100%) of the Company to Maruichi Steel Tube on April 1, 2020 by Kobe Steel, Ltd. (“Kobe Steel”), as previously disclosed on November 27, 2019 (“Announcement on transfer of shares of Kobelco Steel Tube Co., Ltd.”).

The Company will continue to provide a stable supply of high-quality seamless stainless pipes and tubes, as well as high-growth products such as semiconductor clean pipes (Bright Annealed pipes) and precision tubes (Bright Annealed tubes) used in the fuel injection of automotive direct injection engines, etc. we will continue to contribute to society through the creation of new products that capture the evolving needs of our clients.
